Copacabana
This is a beautiful stretch of beach, a little sun trap along the coast. The town has no more than 6 shops so anything you may need for a day at the beach I suggest you take with you. There is the surf club which I think serves food but I’m not 100% sure.
The beach gets some pretty big surf, so if you’re into surfing this would be a really good spot for you.
When you’re finished tanning at the beach you can drive up to the Captain Cook Lookout. I would recommend driving as it is a pretty far and steep walk from the beach. There are two lookout points, giving views of Copacabana Beach and Avoca Beach. On the right lookout you can see all the way to the Norah Head Lighthouse.
